Dear Tyler Florence,
Though my visit was almost a year ago, the memory of your popovers lingers in my mind. They are fantastic; light, but so flavourful. I was very sad that I wasn’t able to fit another bite of anything in. Until the lovely bartender who took care of us gave us the donuts (in addition to the ridiculously huge pie we had ordered). No matter that I was stuffed to the gills, they were too good to leave on the plate. Soft with the right amount of chew and crazy delicious. From execution to experience, my lunch at Wayfare Tavern was the best of my entire trip (handily eclipsing a 3-star Michelin meal). I wish you weren’t so far away.
