Despite having heard about it numerous times, I hadn't made it out to Niagara Street Café until late last November. Boy, was I sorry that there weren't any earlier visits. With time ticking away, I thought I'd post this sooner than later; it's Chef Liu's last week, and here's why you want to check NSC out if you can!
Read Nick and Niagara Street Café on foodpr0n.com

For my first meal back on Swiss soil, I opted to have lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant: Le Chat Botté at the hotel Beau Rivage. Framed by an intensely blue sky of a sunny spring day, the blindingly white and stately hotel faces Lake Geneva and the ever-familliar Jet d'Eau. A fitting start to my trip.
Read Le Chat Botté on foodpr0n.com

I love that Nota Bene has these salted caramel truffles as an after-dinner option. It’s got a liquid caramel centre that explodes on your tongue when you bite into it (pro-tip: pop the whole thing in your mouth and let it melt). Simple, delicious, and perfect for those times when you want something sweet, but not ...more
Read Salted Caramel Truffles From Nota Bene on foodpr0n.com

Good thing I took photos! On one particular evening, I got to try the Buddha Dogs I’d heard a lot about.
Since January 2011, every time I go to The Black Hoof (928 Dundas Street West), I order the current iteration of their pork tacos. It began as pig’s head tacos (see below) and has evolved to the dish we see today – the pork carnitas. Despite tweaks, the core flavours have remained: lime, cilantro, guacamole, ...more
Read Pork Carnitas Tacos At The Black Hoof on foodpr0n.com

It seems that every couple of weeks another Italian restaurant crops up doing that whole "nonna" cookin' schtick. These restaurants are like a wave washing upon a shore. A shore littered with the remains of those restaurants' Italian brethren where their grandmothers may, or may not have, been in the kitchen. Normally, I'd say that Toronto doesn't need more Italian fare served up. I really would. If only the fare wasn't so damn good.
Read Comforting Campagnolo on foodpr0n.com
