I love hitting the markets in the summer. This morning, I snagged some freshly-picked veggies from the SickKids Farmer’s Market (Tuesdays 9am-2pm). You can taste the difference between corn picked this morning versus day-old corn – never mind what you get in the stores. Much more intense. I also picked up some summer sausage from Monforte Dairy. I missed out on the peaches – they were crunchy and firm (I prefer them this way), but tasty.
Downtown Core Markets 2011
Don’t miss out with so many markets close by! I’ve updated my Downtown Core Market post from last year. Couldn’t find any hint of a market at Brookfield for 2011 though.
