I’d taken many photos at Acadia over the last several months, and while I’ve never managed to capture the dishes to my satisfaction, they’ll have to do. Last month, Chef Matt Blondin announced he was slated to join team Momofuku Toronto and I decided that rather than talk about the dishes, I’d just show you the creativity served with every one of his plates – with flavours to match.
I eat one last meal at Acadia with Matt at the helm tonight and look forward – both to his next gig and Acadia’s future menu (Chef Patrik Kriss takes over Acadia’s stoves).

I was there at Blondin’s last day too! His plating is absolutely gorgeous!
